Introducing the 2014 UK winners

The above country winners of 2014 are England - Gabriella Gatehouse, Scotland- Romy McCahill, Wales - Yasmin Alley and Northern Ireland - Justine Mc Eleney have all won an amazing opportunity of a lifetime to star in one of the top 3 biggest International pageants
representing the United Kingdom this November at the televised International final of Miss Earth alongside over 90 countries participating this year. Four contestants also walked away at the double crowning award ceremony held in September and will go on to represent the UK at the ultimate Male and Female Modelling Competition Face Of The World® in association with Birmingham International Fashion Week in April 2015 representing England - Laura Keetley, Scotland - Kira MacLean, Wales -  Yasmin Alley, Northern Ireland - Nicole Caldwell.

In the teen division Abbey Gyles walked away with £500 cash prize and winning the title Teen Earth United Kingdom and Rosie Thompson was awarded Teen Face Of The World and a top London Model Agency new faces contract!

Meet the 2014 finalists

The annual United Kingdom Grand Final Crowning & Award Ceremony is one of the top beauty pageants in the UK and the only green carpet event in the world  is an event of style and glamour where the Green, Glam and Gorgeous England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland girls are selected winning a trip to represent the United Kingdom at one of the top 3 most prestigious beauty pageants with nearly 100 countries participating.

The Miss Earth Crown, 100% of recycled precious metals: 14kt gold and argentums sterling silver. What sets the Miss Earth crown apart is the fact that the gemstones used both precious stone and semiprecious stone were donations from over 80 different participating Miss Earth countries. The flower in the center of the crown represents Mother Earth. The recurring spiral motif has always been associated with "maternal power" and "feminine prestige" which is the essence of Miss Earth. The gentle curves in the crown symbolize "unity" and the "spirit of cooperation."

Miss Earth® is an Ambassador to environmental protection campaigns worldwide and empowers contestants to focus on and promote environmental awareness for a clean, natural and healthy environment. During participation contestants plant trees, raise funds for their charity projects through the Girls4Trees Beauties For A Cause UK Community Fund Project giving funds to UK projects in the hometowns of each of our grand finalists, attend various environmental activities, promote a healthy environment in their hometown and educate people on the three R’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Miss Earth awards four titles representing the four elements: Miss Air 1st runner up, Miss Water 3rd place, Miss Fire 4th place. The Miss Earth title being the top award awarded to the overall winner of their country.
