I attend dance lessons where I learn ballet, tap and modern once a week; I really enjoy learning new things and have made lots of new friends at my dancing group. I have taken two exams in my past year, and passed them both with Honours which I am very proud of. My dance school puts on a dance show every other year and I enjoy being involved with the process and performing in the show, I am looking forward to participating in next year’s production.
I have completed my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, which is a very big achievement to me as I honestly at the time didn’t think I would be able to do it as it was completely out of my comfort zone and seemed like such a challenge. I really enjoyed the walking though, and had such fun in my group; I don’t think I will ever forget it.
As a part of my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award we had to do voluntary work for six months. I applied to work in Salisbury’s Oxfam store which I enjoyed so much I have stayed past my six months and even volunteered in my summer holidays. I think working in the store has gained me lots of knowledge working in a charitable environment and also in a store.
I am currently finishing my Baden-Powell Challenge Award with the Girl Guides, I have been at the Girl Guides since the age of 8, I really enjoy going as it’s very social and relaxed although I have had to do a lot of work for my Baden-Powell Challenge Award which is the highest award a guide can achieve . I am attending a challenge weekend in March 2012 where afterwards I will be eligible to join the rangers. I have decided I would like to become a Young Leader and volunteer for the Girl Guides as I really enjoy it and would love to give something back.
I really enjoy modelling, I have recently participated in Salisbury fashion fortnight and modelled in the grand finale fashion show which was a charity event and raised money for the Stars Appeal's Pembroke Unit Fund. I have also modelled for a local business (Lindsay Frances Christopher Photography) and have taken part in modelling competitions.
In October this year I had a work experience placement at the Finical Services Authority (FSA), in Canary Wharf. I had my placement for three weeks and I really enjoyed myself although it was overwhelming at first. I worked in the One Canada Square therefore I had the pleasure of working in such a huge luxury building with some extremely lovely colleagues whom I still keep in touch with today.
Next year I will be going on a school Kenya scuba expedition with Camps International and will be going away for one month and helping on going conservation initiatives to protect valuable wildlife and the environment whilst working on important projects to improve the standard of living for rural communities. I am really looking forward to going to Kenya and I know it will be a life changing experience and am in the process of fundraising money in order to go and have been organising fundraising events.

To become a role model that others can look up too and I would like to be in the Fashion Industry.
Every day we are carelessly causing pollution all around the world, with out realization we are killing off extremely important species of animals and causing serious harm to the o-zone layer and the world around us. The sad truth is that the people who are warning us are getting very tedious of the fact we aren't listening to them and are carrying on recklessly ruining our beautiful planet we have been blessed with. The Human race should work together soon, to make a change for our planet for the better, before its too late.
