I have been predicted all A-C's in my GCSE's, I get my results on the 23rd of August. I have worked harder in certain subjects like Business and ICT as these are my interests, and I got through the whole two years getting straight A's in these subjects.
I have opened up three business, one to help models achieve their dreams, another which recycles old clothes (We dye them, customize them to make them more attractive) to stop wastage of perfectly good clothes. My other business is a clothing line which only uses sustainable dyes and we keep the airmiles on our deliveries to a minimum to stop environmental damage in the long run.
One of my main achievements have been setting up my businesses, as this is very rare for a 16 year old to be able to set up any business, but nevertheless I persevered as well as trying with my school work. I've always been an ambitious girl, and I'm finally getting into what I enjoy doing.
My main achievement is becoming an agency signed model. Two years ago I started modelling for a friend of my parents, and I loved doing it. On my second photoshoot I began paid work as the photographer believed I had potential which was a great confidence booster. I've been travelling to London and various locations in Kent to do my modelling and I was quickly snapped up by two agencies. I've enjoyed being a different style to others and still being able to get into modelling, and soon I hope to do a huge photo-shoot to promote recycling in my area and creating an ad campaign with various models joining me. If I am able to do this, hopefully I can help boost awareness of the need to recycle and to use sustainable materials.
I have also been published in Classic American Magazine and American Car Magazine because I have been a "trophy girl" for the biggest American Car Club in the UK.
I like to think I can model, but that's your opinion. It's hard to put talents down without sounding egocentric, which is quite the opposite of what I am. I am a young girl who just strives to achieve her dreams. I am learning to play the guitar, as music is something I would love to get in to. But I also do write poems/novels in my free time. I also like to help people, I think I can put that down as a talent, if not, it is something I enjoy doing.
I love listening to music and singing along, pretending I'm in my own little world. It's something anyone can do when they feel they are stressed out, and it brings me peace. I also love to model and create different styles in modelling. I can do makeup to a pretty high standard because it's something I do when I have spare time also. I also love to dye my hair. There's a lot of controversy over hair dyes and me entering this pageant, because I am a natural brunette people assume that I use products tested on animals, but I don't. I always check the labels to make sure it is not tested on animals, as there is no need for it. Why test something on animals if we won't test it on ourselves first? Why possibly hurt something innocent if we are not willing to do it to one of our own kind?
I would love to be in London Fashion Week and be in Vogue, whether it is just for catwalk or for promoting eco-friendly clothing. I would love to be able to change the world for the better, aiming big. Another big dream is for me to own a huge online clothing store, which will support local indie labels and hopefully local musicians too, as there is too much talent out there which goes to waste as nobody can hear them play.
I would like to help combat carbon emissions that effect our ozone layer. As our Ozone layer gets holes in it, harmful rays can cause skin cancer and affect the way our world runs. It permanently damages our planet simply because we will not cycle or walk that one mile to the shop, or catch the bus to school, instead we pollute our air with Carbon Dioxide and other harmful gases. Not only does it affect our children and their children, it also affects the animals and wildlife that live on the polar ice caps. Our whole world is in danger because of how our world is developing. Instead of spending money on things we don't need, why don't we fund research for cars with less pollution? Slowly the world is being damaged, and it may not be reversed, but it can be slowed.
